Technical Mount / S-Mount
Dominant PositionsTechnical Mount is what mount becomes when the bottom partner turns onto their side: one knee slides in behind their back, the other foot posts on the floor, and the top partner rides the turn instead of fighting it. It is a hinge position — from here the back is usually one movement away, and the armbar is the other.
